It seems like whenever you people complain about modern speech patterns or vocabulary, they're complaining about the way girls talk. I'm not sure why that is, although I think I do recall reading an article about how girls are the trendsetters for language. They start (or at least spread) the 'fads' that become normal fixtures of a generation's language (before the trends change again).
If I may veer off in a different (or former) direction, I'm quite sure you've read this, but the biggest concern in Fukushima seems to be the spent fuel rods:
It goes without saying that everybody disagrees about the extent of the danger.

Well, I've never really been in a dangerous situation, but I feel like I'm taking an informed risk -- and imagine where we'd be if no one ever did that! :P
